1.14 at VIBE LOUNGE

It's is freakin freezing out now, and one of the best ways to warm up is to get nice and close to all the metalheads moshing to some sick LI metal.

5pm, down in the den of the Vibe Lounge there are a bunch of people hanging out around the fringes of the room. Up first was Caught Lost, and they got the crowd moving a little, but people were still a little shy. But it wouldn't be too long until people began to fill the middle of the room when FX Zero came to the stage. Their performance was pretty sick, with tons and tons of energy. Their guitarist Steve shredded so hardcore it was incredible watching him play. Never a dull moment with these guys.

Then up was The Arsons Painting. I was not expecting what I saw when they hit the stage. The presence of the lead singer Steve was phenomenal. They had the place moving too, which is always nice to see. They only played one or two original songs though, for they are still in the process of writing songs. I can't wait to see what they bring to the table when they finish those up.

After Arsons, Royal Assassin took the stage and tore it up. There was some serious movement in the den, and so much of it was on stage. There's something about the bands that portray all this energy, it make you want to move, or swing your arms and legs around haphazardly until you run into someone.

The headliner for me, and it seemed most of the place, was From Bliss To Devastation. I've known the bassist Rob for a while, but never had the chance to check out a show. Well, I don't why I waited so long. They were amazing, the whole place had their hands up, singing their songs and getting crazy moshing. It was when FBTD came up that the bouncer had to come in and "control" the situation. They put on one hell of a show, and just yeah, check these guys out.

The last band up was Abhorror, but unfortunately we missed them. I bet it was a sick show though, and I'm sure they will play again at some point. Check out their page and listen to some tunes, they are hard!

It was a fun night, and if you look through the pictures, you'll even catch one of me and one of Jess. So if you ever see us around, say what's up!

Pictures here, until next time, payce.
