I just watched a video that aired on a local cable channel, it's called Channel 12 Long Island News. They did a story covering a local LI band, Conflict in the Sky.

Sooooo here ya go, it's about time that this was realized, don't you think? Artists posting music on the internet to share with the WORLD. This is not something that is new. Sure we think music on the internet is all gonna be pirated Snoop Dogg discs (S N double O P!), but it's been this brooding grounds for so long.
That is what we are doing. Digging through these artists to shine light on bands that have the sounds you want to hear. Record lables are dying, and it's now our time to rise up and give people music, not the rock star image. I've been to better $5 shows than shows in the Garden!
